Invisible cities Reflective Statement

Reflecting back on the 'Invisible cities project,  there are a lot of things that I could have improved on in the project, however, I am proud of what I have archived with the project considering that I've never really used photoshop to paint before. One thing that I have struggled in with this project was time management which I have never been very good at. I put stuff off which cause me to get behind and then later panic about it when it should have been finished with., and that most of the time I was uncombable posting my work online for the first time. Doing 100 thumbnails at the time seemed daunting, and I found it hard to come up with different designs for each city. Exterior Establishing Shot for Ersilla

Exterior Establishing Shot for Ersilla  This is my exterior establishing shot for my chosen city, Ersilla. For this painting, I chose to use a cloth wall leading to the city, which was influenced by the artists, Christo Vladimirov Javacheff and Jeanne-Claude, who are a married couple who created environmental works of art, and their cloth fence.

Ersilla Influence Map

This is my influence map for my chosen city, Ersilla. I based this map on the feedback I got from my OGR, so I focused more on how the city would work logically and tried to think bigger than I was before.

Invisible Cities Thumbnails (Zenobia)

Image
These are my thumbnails for the city Zenobia. For these thumbnails, I accidentally did the outline on the wrong layer, however, I managed to sort it out so that it wasn't a problem. My favourite thumbnails are numbers 148 and 149. These are my favourite because I like how I drew the house and bridge along with the small details I added in some places.
