Hey Grace - BIG apologies for missing this the first time around; it sneaked beneath my radar somehow! The good news is... I've also just seen your re-worked concept painting and I think it involves the viewer much more (though I still think there maybe opportunities for dropping the view lower so we get a bit less sky?). In common with your Invisible Cities painting, you've got a lovely sense of atmosphere and 'soft magic' in these concept paintings and I think you've really captured something of your artist's work in this very sensitively. I do think you could consider getting seem pattern on your road surfaces - so use paving etc to continue some of the patterns in your artist's work, as in...

and also, given your illumination/nighttime vibe... consider recessed floor lighting or similar to turn the floor into something more magical too...

Short version is I think there's a lot of potential here, Grace, and I think you've captured something of your artist in your designs successfully. Just in terms of dialling up the quality of your orthographs and presentation of your various assets, I want to point you at these character osthograpgs etc from one of our third year students...

When it comes to putting your Art Of together etc, I'd like you look again at the presentation of your orthographs and see if you can push them a bit harder in terms of their quality...

One final observation: the square windows running around the base of your 'domes'... maybe these are bit generic compared to some of the shapes your artist gives you to work with (so spheres and diamonds) - could this little detail be even more 'Fischinger'?

I was bit worried about the 'silence' around this project, Grace - but I'm less worried now. I think you need to push hard and fast to resolve these last few enhancements and then get to grips with the modelling stage with enthusiasm and passion! Onwards!
